Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the MartialArts.Training website (“Website”) and the online training programs, accounts, videos, materials, communications, offers, checkout functions, and related products and services made available through it (collectively, the “Services”).

MAT Martial Arts Training is a registered fictitious name of Dragons Warriors LLC, a Florida limited liability company. In these Terms, “MAT,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to MAT Martial Arts Training and its legal operator, Dragons Warriors LLC.

Please read these Terms carefully. By accessing the Website, creating an account, registering for content, purchasing a program, or otherwise using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not access or use the Services.

Eligibility and minors

You must be at least 18 years old or have reached the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction to create an account or make a purchase independently.

A person under 18 may participate in the training only with the authorization and supervision of a parent or legal guardian. The parent or legal guardian is responsible for the minor’s account, purchase, participation, safety, and compliance with these Terms.

The Services are not directed to children under 13. A child under 13 may not independently create an account or provide personal information through the Website.

Accounts and account security

You may be required to create an account to access purchased programs or certain Website features. You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information and to keep your account information updated.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity performed through your account. You must notify us promptly at mat@martialarts.training if you believe that your account has been accessed or used without authorization.

Unless an offer expressly states otherwise, each account and program license is personal to the purchaser and may not be shared, transferred, sold, sublicensed, or made available to another person. Family participation under the purchaser’s supervision may be permitted where specifically described on the applicable offer page.

We may suspend or restrict an account when reasonably necessary to investigate suspected fraud, unauthorized access, payment problems, security risks, account sharing, infringement, or violations of these Terms or our other policies.

Programs and access periods

The content, features, access period, support, certifications, video reviews, bonuses, and other benefits included with a purchase are described on the applicable offer or checkout page at the time of purchase.

Access begins on the purchase date unless the applicable offer expressly provides a different starting date.

Programs with a fixed access period, such as 6-month, 12-month, or 3-year access, remain available for the specified period, subject to these Terms.

Lifetime Access

“Lifetime Access” means access to the purchased program for as long as MAT continues to operate and make that program available. It does not guarantee that the Website, platform, instructor, technology, individual lessons, or program format will remain unchanged or available without interruption forever.

We may update, reorganize, replace, migrate, or improve program content and delivery systems. If reasonably necessary, we may provide access through a replacement platform or a substantially equivalent delivery method.

Lifetime Access is personal, non-transferable, and remains subject to compliance with these Terms.

Program changes and availability

We may update program materials, lesson order, instructors, features, platform design, schedules, support methods, or technical delivery when reasonably necessary to improve, maintain, secure, or continue the Services.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. Temporary interruptions may occur because of maintenance, updates, Internet problems, third-party platform outages, security incidents, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

We will make reasonable efforts to maintain access to purchased programs, but we do not provide a specific percentage-based uptime guarantee.

Billing and payments

You agree to pay the price, taxes, fees, and other charges clearly disclosed on the applicable offer and checkout page when you complete a purchase.

Payments may be processed through Kajabi Payments, its payment-processing partners, PayPal, or another payment method displayed at checkout. Payment providers may apply their own terms, privacy policies, security procedures, and processing requirements.

We generally do not receive or store your complete payment-card number or card security code.

Unless an offer expressly states that it is a subscription, MAT program purchases do not automatically renew.

Payment plans

If you select a payment plan, you are purchasing the program for the total price disclosed at checkout and authorizing the scheduled installments to be charged automatically on the stated payment dates. A fixed installment plan is not a recurring subscription and ends after all scheduled payments have been completed.

Except when a valid refund is requested within the applicable guarantee period, selecting a payment plan commits you to completing all scheduled payments.

If a scheduled payment fails, we may retry the payment, request an updated payment method, and suspend or restrict program access until the account is brought current. Completing all required payments is a condition of retaining access under a payment-plan offer.

Prices, offers, and promotional credits

We may change prices, payment options, bonuses, or offers at any time. Changes do not retroactively alter a completed purchase unless required by law or expressly agreed with you.

Promotional prices, discounts, upgrade credits, and other benefits are subject to the conditions and deadlines stated in the applicable offer. Unless expressly stated otherwise, promotional credits have no cash value, cannot be transferred, and cannot be redeemed for cash.

If information concerning a price or offer contains an obvious error, we may correct the error before fulfilling the purchase. If we cannot provide the purchase under the corrected terms, we will allow you to cancel the affected transaction and receive a refund of the amount charged.

Refunds and money-back guarantees

MAT provides voluntary refund guarantees for certain offers. The guarantee displayed on the applicable offer or checkout page at the time of purchase forms part of these Terms.

Full program access plans

Unless the applicable offer expressly states otherwise, MAT’s principal Shaolin Kung Fu and Wing Chun full program access plans include a 30-day money-back guarantee.

If the program does not meet your expectations, you may request a full refund within 30 calendar days of the original purchase date.

If you purchased an eligible program through a payment plan, the 30-day period begins on the date of your first payment. A valid request made within that period will result in a refund of the payments already collected for that purchase and cancellation of the remaining scheduled payments.

Offers with a 7-day guarantee

Certain individual training forms, upgrades, or other specific offers may include a 7-day money-back guarantee. This guarantee applies only when it is expressly displayed on the applicable offer or checkout page.

A valid refund request for such an offer must be submitted within seven calendar days of the original purchase date.

7-Day Beginner Access

The Shaolin Kung Fu and Wing Chun 7-Day Beginner Access offers provide immediate, short-term access to introductory training content. These Beginner Access purchases are final and are not eligible for a voluntary refund.

The Beginner Access offers are one-time purchases and do not automatically renew. Any upgrade credit associated with Beginner Access is governed by the conditions and deadline stated in the applicable offer.

Other offers and services

Other products, administrative services, application fees, or special offers may have different refund conditions. When applicable, those conditions will be disclosed on the relevant offer or checkout page before purchase.

How to request a refund

To request a refund under an applicable guarantee, email mat@martialarts.training before the relevant deadline. Please include the email address associated with your account and sufficient purchase information for us to identify the transaction.

A “full refund” means the complete amount paid to MAT for the qualifying purchase. Approved refunds are normally returned through the original payment method. The time required for the funds to appear in your account may depend on the payment provider or financial institution.

When a purchase is refunded, access to the refunded program and any benefits, bonuses, credits, certifications, reviews, or upgrades connected exclusively with that purchase may be removed.

Nothing in this section limits any refund, cancellation, withdrawal, or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted in your jurisdiction.

Training, health, and safety

Martial arts, fitness, conditioning, flexibility, strength, and movement training involve inherent risks, including physical strain, falls, collisions, aggravation of existing conditions, and other injuries.

The Services provide general educational and training information. They are not medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, physical therapy, or a substitute for advice from a qualified healthcare professional.

Before beginning a training program, you are responsible for considering your health, fitness level, limitations, injuries, medical conditions, surroundings, and equipment. Consult a qualified healthcare professional before beginning or modifying physical training if you have an injury, medical condition, concern, or uncertainty about your ability to participate safely.

You agree to train within your abilities, follow safety instructions, use appropriate equipment and surroundings, and stop immediately if you experience pain, dizziness, breathing difficulty, loss of balance, or another concerning symptom.

Younger participants must be supervised by a parent, legal guardian, or responsible adult. Techniques involving contact, weapons, partner drills, high-impact movements, or advanced flexibility should not be attempted without suitable instruction, space, equipment, and supervision.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, you voluntarily assume the ordinary and inherent risks associated with participating in the training. Additional information is available in our Disclaimer.

No guarantee of individual results

Training results vary depending on factors including consistency, effort, age, health, physical condition, previous experience, environment, available equipment, and ability to follow instruction.

We do not guarantee that you will achieve a particular level of skill, fitness, flexibility, strength, certification, professional opportunity, or other result. Testimonials and student stories describe individual experiences and are not guarantees that another person will obtain the same results.

Certifications and personal reviews

Certifications, personal video reviews, instructor feedback, and similar services are included only when stated in the purchased offer.

A certification may require completion of specified lessons, submission of requested materials, demonstration of required skills, compliance with submission instructions, and approval under the applicable assessment criteria. Purchasing a program does not by itself guarantee certification.

The number of submissions, review deadlines, eligible programs, and other conditions are determined by the applicable offer and submission instructions.

User submissions and content

You retain ownership of original information, messages, images, videos, feedback, and other content that you submit through the Services (“User Content”).

You represent that you own or have the necessary rights and permissions to submit your User Content and that it does not violate any law or the rights of another person.

You grant MAT a limited, non-exclusive license to access, store, reproduce, transmit, and display User Content only as reasonably necessary to operate the Services, provide requested support or feedback, review certification submissions, protect the platform, and comply with legal obligations.

We will not use a private training submission, image, or video as a public testimonial or marketing material without obtaining any additional permission required by applicable law.

We may remove or restrict User Content that violates these Terms, infringes another person’s rights, creates a security risk, or violates our Acceptable Use Policy.

Intellectual property and permitted use

The Website, training programs, videos, lesson plans, text, graphics, photographs, logos, downloadable materials, course structure, and other content provided by MAT or its licensors are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual-property laws.

Your purchase grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable right to access and use the purchased materials for your own training during the applicable access period.

Except where we expressly authorize it, you may not:

  • Share, sell, transfer, sublicense, publish, distribute, or commercially exploit your account or program access.
  • Copy, reproduce, download, record, screen-record, redistribute, upload, or publicly display training videos or materials.
  • Use MAT content to create, teach, market, or sell a competing course, membership, training library, or derivative product.
  • Remove copyright, trademark, ownership, or attribution notices.
  • Use automated systems to scrape, extract, index, or reproduce Website or course content.
  • Use MAT content to train or develop an artificial-intelligence system, dataset, or machine-learning model without our written permission.

Downloads expressly made available within a program may be downloaded and used personally, but they remain protected by these Terms and may not be redistributed or commercially exploited.

Copyright complaints are handled under our Copyright and DMCA Policy.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Website or Services. Prohibited activities include:

  • Using the Services for an unlawful, fraudulent, harmful, abusive, or deceptive purpose.
  • Sharing accounts or attempting to access an account without authorization.
  • Circumventing access restrictions, payment controls, security systems, or program-access periods.
  • Introducing malicious code, interfering with the Website, or attempting to test or exploit vulnerabilities without authorization.
  • Harassing, threatening, impersonating, or infringing the rights of another person.
  • Submitting false, misleading, defamatory, infringing, or unlawful content.
  • Using training information to encourage unlawful violence, abuse, or harm.
  • Copying, scraping, recording, redistributing, or commercially exploiting protected content without permission.

Additional requirements are described in our Acceptable Use Policy.

Communications and email

When you create an account, request content, or make a purchase, we may send transactional and service-related communications necessary to provide the Services. These may include confirmations, login instructions, access information, payment notices, security alerts, support responses, and important program updates.

We may also send educational, training, or promotional communications where permitted by law. Where consent is required, we will obtain the applicable consent before sending those communications.

You may unsubscribe from promotional emails at any time by using the unsubscribe link included in the message or contacting us. Unsubscribing from promotional communications does not prevent us from sending essential messages concerning your account, purchases, payments, access, security, or requested support.

Privacy, cookies, and advertising technologies

Our collection and use of personal information are described in our Privacy Policy.

We use necessary and optional technologies to operate the Website, understand performance, and measure advertising. On standard Website pages where cookie-preference controls are available, non-essential cookies and browser-based tracking are managed according to your choices and applicable law.

For additional information, please review our Cookie Notice.

Third-party platforms and links

Parts of the Services may be hosted, processed, or delivered through third-party providers such as Kajabi, payment processors, analytics providers, advertising platforms, email providers, or social media services.

The Website may also contain links to third-party websites or resources. We do not control third-party services and are not responsible for their content, availability, security, or independent practices. Your use of a third-party service may be governed by that provider’s own terms and privacy policies.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access when we reasonably determine that a user has:

  • Violated these Terms or another applicable MAT policy.
  • Shared, sold, copied, or misused program access or protected materials.
  • Failed to complete required payments.
  • Engaged in fraud, abuse, harassment, unlawful conduct, or activity that threatens the security or operation of the Services.

Where reasonable, we may provide notice and an opportunity to correct the violation. Immediate action may be taken when necessary to protect users, instructors, intellectual property, payment systems, or the security of the Services.

Suspension or termination for a violation does not automatically create a right to a refund. Any applicable guarantee, non-waivable consumer right, or other legal obligation will continue to apply according to its terms.

Disclaimer of warranties

Except for any express money-back guarantee, commitment, or non-waivable consumer right stated in these Terms or on an applicable offer page, the Website and Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, MAT disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the Services will always be uninterrupted, error-free, completely secure, compatible with every device, or suitable for every individual’s personal objectives.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions. In those jurisdictions, these exclusions apply only to the extent permitted by law.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, MAT and its owners, affiliates, officers, employees, contractors, instructors, agents, service providers, and licensors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential damages, including lost profits, lost opportunities, loss of data, or business interruption, arising from or related to the Website or Services.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, MAT’s total aggregate liability for a claim relating to a purchased Service will not exceed the amount you paid to MAT for the specific Service giving rise to the claim during the 12 months preceding the event that created the claim.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, or personal injury where such a limitation is prohibited by applicable law.

Indemnification

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless MAT and its owners, affiliates, officers, employees, contractors, instructors, and agents from third-party claims, liabilities, damages, and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful conduct, infringement of another person’s rights, User Content, unauthorized commercial use of the Services, or material violation of these Terms.

Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida and applicable federal laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Subject to any mandatory consumer right or jurisdiction that cannot legally be waived, disputes concerning these Terms or the Services will be submitted to the state or federal courts located in Florida that have jurisdiction over the dispute.

Nothing in these Terms deprives a consumer of mandatory protections or remedies available under the laws of the consumer’s country, state, or place of residence when those protections cannot lawfully be waived by contract.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, invalid, or unenforceable, that provision will be interpreted or limited to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in effect.

No waiver

Our failure to enforce a provision of these Terms does not waive our right to enforce that provision or another provision in the future.

Assignment

You may not assign or transfer your account, purchase, license, or rights under these Terms without our written permission.

We may assign these Terms as part of a merger, acquisition, corporate reorganization, sale of assets, transfer of the MAT business, or similar transaction, provided that the successor remains responsible for the applicable obligations.

Entire agreement and order of terms

These Terms, together with the applicable offer and checkout terms and the policies incorporated by reference, constitute the agreement between you and MAT concerning the Website and Services.

If a specific term displayed on an offer or checkout page conflicts with a general provision of these Terms concerning the price, payment schedule, access period, included benefits, or refund guarantee for that purchase, the specific term presented at checkout will control for that purchase.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms when our Services, business practices, technologies, or legal obligations change. When we update them, we will revise the “Last updated” date below.

Material changes may also be communicated through the Website, by email, or through another appropriate method. Changes will apply prospectively from their effective date. The price, access period, payment obligations, and refund guarantee accepted for a completed purchase will not be materially changed retroactively unless required by law or agreed with you.
