Information received from other sources

We may receive information from service providers and business partners that help us operate the Services, including our website and course platform, payment processors, analytics providers, advertising platforms, email service providers, and social media platforms.

For example, we may receive payment confirmations, campaign-attribution information, or information showing that a person interacted with one of our advertisements or social media pages.

  • Comply with legal obligations, respond to lawful requests, and establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

Legal bases for processing

Where the laws of the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction require us to identify a legal basis, we rely on one or more of the following:

  • Performance of a contract: when processing is necessary to provide a requested product or service, manage your account, process an order, or provide customer support.
  • Consent: when you consent to non-essential cookies, certain advertising technologies, marketing communications, testimonials, or another specific use. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing that occurred before withdrawal.
  • Legitimate interests: when processing is reasonably necessary to operate and improve our business, secure the Services, understand performance, prevent fraud, communicate with customers, or market our Services, provided that those interests are not overridden by your rights and interests.
  • Legal obligations: when processing is necessary to comply with tax, accounting, consumer-protection, law-enforcement, or other legal requirements.

The legal basis may vary depending on the activity, your location, and applicable law.

Website hosting, accounts, courses, and email

We use Kajabi to host and operate important parts of the Website and Services, including landing pages, forms, contacts, accounts, course content, email communications, offers, and checkout functions.

Kajabi may process personal information on our behalf to provide these functions and may also process certain information for its own business, security, compliance, or legal purposes under its applicable terms and privacy notices.

When you register for a free resource, we may use a confirmation process, including double opt-in, before delivering the resource or beginning the related email sequence. When you create an account or purchase a program, we may send transactional and service-related emails that are necessary to provide the Services.

Marketing emails are separate from essential transactional communications. Where consent is required, we send marketing communications only after obtaining the required consent.

You may unsubscribe from promotional emails at any time by using the unsubscribe link included in the email or contacting us. If you unsubscribe from marketing, you may still receive essential messages concerning your account, purchases, subscriptions, access, security, or requested support.

Emails may contain tracking technologies that help us understand whether a message was opened or a link was clicked. You may limit some email tracking by disabling images in your email application or reading emails in plain-text mode.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how people use the Website and to measure Website performance, traffic sources, registrations, downloads, checkout activity, and purchases.

Depending on your consent choices, configuration, and applicable law, Google Analytics may process information such as page and event activity, browser and device information, approximate location, campaign or referral information, session statistics, and pseudonymous identifiers. Google may process an IP address transiently to provide the service and derive approximate location information.

On standard Website pages where our cookie-consent controls are available, non-essential analytics storage is managed according to your choices through Google Consent Mode. Where supported, Google may receive limited technical, consent-status, or cookieless measurement signals when analytics consent is denied, but analytics cookies are not intended to be stored on your device without the applicable consent.

Advertising and conversion measurement

We use advertising technologies provided by Meta Platforms, including the Meta Pixel and Conversions API, to measure advertising performance and understand whether Website activity results in registrations, checkout activity, or purchases.

Depending on the event, your consent choices, our configuration, and applicable law, information sent to Meta may include:

  • Page visits and Website interactions.
  • Lead, registration, checkout, and purchase events.
  • Purchase value and currency.
  • IP address, browser, device, and user-agent information.
  • Meta browser and click identifiers.
  • Event identifiers used to measure and deduplicate browser and server events.
  • Contact information submitted during registration or purchase, such as an email address or name, which may be normalized and hashed before transmission.

Hashing helps protect contact information during transmission but does not necessarily make it anonymous. Meta may use the information it receives in accordance with its terms and privacy policies, including to provide measurement, attribution, security, and advertising services.

We use these technologies to measure campaigns, attribute conversions, improve advertising, create audiences where permitted, and deliver or support more relevant advertising.

Advertising cookies and browser-based tracking on standard Website pages are managed through our cookie-consent system where applicable. Server-side event processing is handled according to our platform configuration, consent settings where supported, and applicable law.

We do not sell personal information for money. However, disclosure of identifiers or online activity to an advertising provider may be considered “sharing,” “targeted advertising,” or a “sale” under certain privacy laws, even when no money is exchanged. Where applicable, you may opt out through our cookie-preference controls or by contacting us.

Cookies and consent choices

We use CookieScript to display cookie choices and remember consent preferences on standard Website pages. Depending on your location and the available controls, you may be able to accept all cookies, decline non-essential cookies, or manage preferences by category.

Necessary technologies may remain active because they are required to secure and operate the Website, remember privacy choices, manage accounts, provide purchased content, process transactions, or respond to requests.

Some Kajabi-hosted checkout, account, product, or transaction pages may use separate technologies required to provide those Services.

You may also control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking necessary cookies may prevent certain Website, checkout, login, or course features from working correctly.

For detailed information about the technologies we use and the choices available to you, please review our Cookie Notice.

Billing and payments

Payments may be processed through Kajabi Payments, its payment-processing partners, or PayPal, depending on the payment method available and selected.

Payment providers may collect and process information such as your name, billing address, email address, payment method details, transaction amount, currency, fraud-prevention information, and other information required to authorize and complete a transaction. They process this information under their own terms, privacy notices, and legal obligations.

We generally do not receive or store your complete payment-card number or card security code. We may receive limited transaction information such as the purchaser’s name, contact details, purchased offer, transaction identifier, payment status, amount, currency, subscription status, and refund information.

How we disclose personal information

We may disclose personal information to the following categories of recipients when reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy:

  • Kajabi, for Website hosting, forms, accounts, course delivery, email, offers, checkout, customer management, and related platform services.
  • Kajabi Payments and payment-processing partners, for payment authorization, transaction processing, refunds, subscriptions, fraud prevention, and financial compliance.
  • PayPal, when PayPal is selected or used for a transaction.
  • Google Analytics, for analytics and performance measurement.
  • Meta Platforms, including Facebook and Instagram, for advertising, conversion measurement, attribution, audience creation, and campaign improvement where permitted.
  • CookieScript, for cookie-consent management and recording privacy preferences.
  • Hosting, infrastructure, security, communications, customer-support, and technical service providers that help us operate the Services.
  • Professional advisers, such as accountants, lawyers, auditors, and insurers, where reasonably necessary.
  • Government agencies, regulators, courts, law enforcement, or other parties when disclosure is required or permitted by law or necessary to protect rights, safety, and security.
  • A buyer, investor, successor, or adviser in connection with a proposed or completed merger, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar business transaction, subject to appropriate confidentiality and legal requirements.

Service providers acting on our behalf are permitted to process personal information only as needed to perform their services or meet legal requirements. Some providers, including payment and advertising platforms, may also act as independent businesses or controllers for certain processing activities under their own privacy notices.

International transfers

Dragons Warriors LLC and several of our service providers operate in the United States and other countries. As a result, personal information may be transferred to, stored in, or processed in a country other than the country where you live.

Where required by applicable law, international transfers may be supported by recognized safeguards or lawful transfer mechanisms, such as adequacy decisions, standard contractual clauses, data-processing agreements, or other protections made available by the relevant service providers. The privacy and data-protection laws of the receiving country may differ from those in your country.

Data retention

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including to provide the Services, maintain business and transaction records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, enforce agreements, and establish or defend legal claims.

Retention periods depend on the type of information and why it was collected. In general:

  • Account and course-access information may be retained while your account or purchased access remains active and for a reasonable period afterward.
  • Transaction, tax, accounting, subscription, and refund records may be retained for the period required by applicable law and legitimate business needs.
  • Customer-support communications may be retained for as long as needed to resolve requests and maintain an appropriate record of the interaction.
  • Marketing contact information may be retained until you unsubscribe, withdraw consent, or request deletion, subject to a limited suppression record used to honor your opt-out.
  • Analytics and advertising information is retained according to our settings and the retention practices of the relevant providers.
  • Cookie-consent records and preferences may be retained for as long as needed to demonstrate and remember your choices.

When personal information is no longer required, we may delete, de-identify, or aggregate it. We may retain de-identified or aggregated information that cannot reasonably be used to identify you.

Your privacy rights and choices

Depending on where you live and applicable law, you may have the right to:

  • Request access to personal information we hold about you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information.
  • Request deletion of personal information.
  • Request restriction of certain processing.
  • Object to processing based on legitimate interests or for direct marketing.
  • Receive certain information in a portable format.
  • Withdraw consent at any time when processing is based on consent.
  • Opt out of marketing communications.
  • Opt out of the sale, sharing, or use of personal information for targeted advertising where applicable.
  • Appeal a decision concerning a privacy request where applicable.
  • Lodge a complaint with a competent data-protection or privacy authority.

These rights are not absolute. Applicable law may allow or require us to deny or limit a request, including when information must be retained to complete a transaction, comply with law, protect security, prevent fraud, or establish or defend legal claims.

To exercise a privacy right, email mat@martialarts.training and describe your request. We may ask for information reasonably necessary to verify your identity, protect your account, and confirm the scope of the request.

An authorized agent may submit a request where permitted by law, but we may require proof of authorization and verification of the relevant consumer.

We will respond within the period required by applicable law. We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right.

EEA, United Kingdom, and Switzerland

If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you may have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict, object to, or obtain a portable copy of certain personal information and to withdraw consent when processing is based on consent.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the data-protection authority responsible for your country or region. We encourage you to contact us first so that we can try to address your concern.

United States state privacy rights

Residents of California and certain other U.S. states may have additional rights under applicable state privacy laws. These may include rights to know or access personal information, correct inaccurate information, delete information, obtain a portable copy, and opt out of sale, sharing, targeted advertising, or certain profiling.

We do not sell personal information for money. As explained above, some advertising-related disclosures may be treated as “sharing,” “targeted advertising,” or a “sale” under certain state laws.

Where those laws apply, you may submit an opt-out request through available cookie-preference controls or by emailing mat@martialarts.training.

Some browsers offer opt-out preference signals such as Global Privacy Control. Where applicable law requires us to recognize a supported opt-out preference signal, we will process it as required for the browser or device that sends the signal.

Do Not Track signals

Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” setting. Because there is not a consistent industry standard for interpreting all Do Not Track signals, the Website may not respond to those signals.

This does not affect any rights you may have under applicable law or the choices available through our cookie-consent controls.

Automated decision-making

We may use analytics and advertising technologies to measure activity, create or support advertising audiences, and personalize marketing where permitted. We do not use personal information to make solely automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects concerning you.

Children’s privacy

The Website and Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without legally valid parental or guardian consent.

If you are under the age at which you may independently consent to the processing of personal information in your country, a parent or legal guardian must provide any required consent and supervise your use of the Services.

If we learn that we collected personal information from a child in violation of applicable law, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

If you believe a child has provided personal information to us improperly, please contact mat@martialarts.training.

Information security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information against accidental or unlawful loss, misuse, alteration, unauthorized access, or disclosure.

However, no Internet transmission, electronic storage system, or security measure is completely secure. We therefore cannot guarantee absolute security.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for notifying us if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.

Data breaches

If we become aware of a personal-data breach, we will investigate and take reasonable steps to contain and address it. Where required by applicable law, we will notify affected individuals and relevant authorities within the legally required timeframes.

Third-party links and services

The Website and Services may contain links to websites, social networks, payment services, or other resources that we do not own or control. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.

We are not responsible for the content, security, or privacy practices of third-party resources, and we encourage you to review their privacy notices before providing personal information.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when our Services, technologies, service providers, or legal obligations change.

When we update it, we will revise the “Last updated” date below. Material changes may also be communicated through the Website, by email, or through another appropriate method.
